Rock was the project manager and LEED coordinator for this extraordinary project while at WTW. With a design by WTW founder Paul Whitehead, this project represents Henry Posner, Jr.'s dream of providing a world class library to and display facility for The Posner Collection, one of the top five privately held collections of fine and rare books in the world.
Custom vitrines include fiber optic lighting and passive air filtration and humidity control. The builidng also includes a conference center used by the Carnegie Mellon Board of Trustees and a roof garden designed by Michael Van Valkenburg that is definitely not part of the beaten path.
